Watford 60s get promoted to Divison 1 TVWFL

The TVWFL over 60s division 2 was a close finish. With only 6 points separating the top 4 teams it was a fight to the end. With Watford on 27; Hurst on 24; Oxford Utd B on 22; and Slough on 21 it was all to play for.

After Watford’s first 3 games we were uncatchable. We got wins against Oxford C and Slough, and a draw against Oxford B putting us in poll position. Hurst gave us a good run for our money, beating us head to head in our fourth game but it was already all over by then.

Some great football, great saves and great goals saw us finish just 1 point above Hurst, with goals from Lee Cousins and Allan Carrington, we were on fire and did what we needed to!

The 60s Bears are now promoted to Division 1 where we will be tested with multi touch football.
