Watford Cubs Win TVWFL Division 2

The 50s ‘Cubs’ were formed in 2022 and entered the Thames Valley Walking Football League (TVWFL) season of 2022/23.

The Cubs were formed to give players (who didn’t make the most competitive 50s teams in the club) an opportunity to compete in a league of their own. The standard of the league was good but in the first season The Cubs finished third, just missing out on promotion. The 2023/24 season has seen some new players strengthen the team and after the final June fixture we finished 1st in Division 2, gaining promotion to Division 1.

I would like to mention the great spirit and commitment of the players in this team.
